Navarro is an opposition activist that attended the popular protests of 11 J, she is a member of the Damas de Blanco and coordinator of the Cuba Decide platform, and also the daughter the political prisoner Félix Navarro.

Convicted for the crimes of Public Disorder, Contempt and Attack, she was arrested on July 12, one day after the massive protests, in the town of Perico, Matanzas, when she was accompanying the relative of a political prisoner to a local police unit.

For more than 10 years, Navarro responded to the call of the organization to which she belongs, the Damas de Blanco, to try every Sunday to reach the mass of the Catholic church in her locality in order to ask for the release of the political prisoners of Cuba.

Her oral hearing ended with the reading of the document that disclosed her admission to prison for the continuous attempts to try to reach mass every Sunday.

She was threatened with being transferred to guantanamo prison.
