Related to the case of Oscar Perez and his group, known worldwide because they were executed by the Venezuelan regime on livestream, despite of their surrender.
Frank was arrested on September 13, 2017, at his home in Guacara, Carabobo state, by a CICPC commission, under threats, forcing his minor brother to open the door. They entered and handcuffed him and asked him where the helicopter key was and where Óscar Pérez was hiding. He was beaten for saying that he didn’t know anything about Oscar Pérez, and that he was just his friend.
He was transferred to the CICPC in Valencia, without an arrest warrant, where he was tortured and beaten, insisting that he provide them with information about Oscar Perez. He was presented in Caracas, before a court with competence in terrorism, accusing him of Association and Cooperation to terrorism, leaving him deprived of his liberty, for his friendship with Pérez.
He is currently in the Metropolitan Prison of Yare 3 in the Miranda state, a common prison for dangerous prisoners, in very precarious conditions and sick from a lung injury produced in 2017, with poor nutrition, without medical assistance, still waiting for the Dispatch Court to conclude the trial, since it is paralyzed.

He is a Venezuelan journalist, television host and politician. He is currently the president of Capitolio TV, a position he has held since November 29, 2016, conducting a interview program, where he addresses issues of global interest.
He began his journalistic career in 1992 as an anchor for “El Noticiero”, a Venezuelan channel TELEVEN. Then, in 1996 he moved to Radio Caracas Televisión RCTV, “Venezuelan pioneer television” from which the Regime took away the concession.
Until 2010 he was the host of the programs La Entrevista and Lo que marcó pauta of the channel Radio Caracas Televisión RCTV.
In 2010, he launched his pre-candidacy as a deputy to the National Assembly for the state of Táchira. On July 18, he won the primaries launched by the opposition.
