Mora is the founder, owner and former director of the 100% Noticias television channel, closed by Daniel Ortega’s regime in the context of the socio-political crisis that the country has been experiencing since April 2018 and that is now broadcast on a digital platform. Currently he is a Nicaraguan political prisoner and journalist
Miguel Mora has just completed one year and five months unjustly imprisoned. Mora, was a candidate for the Presidency of Nicaragua for the opposition before being detained in June of 2022. He is currently serving a 13-year prison sentence for the crime of conspiring to commit impairment of national integrity.
For Mora, this is his second arrest. Between December 2018 and June 2019, he was imprisoned for 172 days for alleged “incitement to hatred,” “conspiracy” and “terrorism.” In 2021 he was again arrested for “committing impairment of national integrity” and in 2022 he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Paola Holguín, is a Colombian journalist and senator. She was a presidential adviser in the government of former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez since 2003. In the legislative elections of Colombia in 2014 she was elected senator of the Republic by the Democratic Center party, taking office on July 20, 2014; she was later re-elected Senator on March 11, 2018 in an election in which her party participated with an open list, where she achieved the second highest vote in her community.
